New outdoor footwear should always be worn around the house, indoors on carpeted surfaces before they are christened on a hillside. This will enable you to return boots and swap them for an alternative model offering a different fit. Having worn boots indoors, the next step is to go outdoors. This should only be done when you are satisfied that the fit of the boot is correct for your feet.
New footwear always has a settling in period and stiffer boots will need breaking in. If you are experiencing problems associated with fit after this period, then an appointment should be made for a micro fitting session. Most problems tend to be minor fit issues that can be easily solved by changing socks, footbeds, volume reduction or stretching. This can take more than one session to correct. Should two or three micro fit sessions not solve the problem, the next step is to change to a different model of footwear.
Customers will receive a credit note to the value of their original purchase, but will be expected to pay the balance if they choose a model of greater value than their original purchase. As we are taking used boots back into stock, customers will not receive change however if they select a model cheaper than the original. |
