The Hanwag bunion fit is about having space, width and depth, at the big toe joint.
The rest of the fit is a normal snug fitting and gives good heel and mid foot hold, this makes them ideal for people that have a slim foot other than a bunion.
Previously these customers would either have to slop around in wide fitting boots or to wear something too tight at the big toe joint so the bunion fit is a great addition to our range of different fittings.
It’s not for everyone though as people with generally wide or high volume feet will find these have less width and space around the little toe side than the Meindl comfort fit or Altberg Extra wide fitting boots.
