Back for 2019, the stunning Superguide 105, freeride ski performance with touring ski weight.
- Weight: 3.1 kg (per pair 183cm)
- Dimensions: 135/105/124
- Construction: Wood core, standard sidewall construction. Carbon / Kevlar Elliptic top dock.
- Turn Radius: 23m
The Superguide 105 features Scott's bombproof full sandwich side wall construction, pro tip rocker 320 TIP and 3D sidecut. They also feature the elliptical top deck which can be found on THE Ski which stiffens the torsional rigidity giving improved edge power.
We think the Superguide 95 is an excellent lightweight touring ski which is still fun on the descent, but the new ski, the Superguide 105, is a fully fledged, charging, freeride ski which way out performs its lightweight touring credentials. At 3.1KGS per pair the 105's are plenty light enough for touring, although you may find that if the skin track is skinny you'll be making your own, but they hold there own on the descent with freeride skis that are much heavier. For powder, crust, crud and chop they punch through in a way which none of the other wide 3Kgs skis we tried could beat.
For seasoned hard chargers and soft snow tourers, the Scott Superguide 105 is an excellent, modern, wide touring ski offering great fun and solid performance.
