What Size Ski Boot?

Ski touring, freeride, telemark and downhill ski boots are made in Mondopoint sizing, which measured from heel to longest toe in centimeters.

Although the system is designed as a standard measurement across all manufacturers we find that there is wild variation from model to model, other elements of the design such as, width across the ball of the foot, volume, taper around the heel and the shape of the toe box, each significantly affect how a particular boot from a manufacturer fits (or doesn't fit) any particular skier’s foot.

As a very general guide the following conversion table below, from uk and european shoe sizes shows the starting point for fitting new ski boots
(note that no manufacturer produces ski boots in half sizes, see the article on this here).
