ATK are an Italian Ski Touring Binding brand with some fantastic revolutionary lightweight binding designs manufactured to the highest quality.
The Trofeo Plus is a striped down super light ski touring binding which weighs an featherlite 205gms per binding. The Trofeo Plus is the Trofeo binding but mounted on the heel adjustment plate and they come packaged with a ski leash though you can fit the Touring Ski Brake (R15).
The Trofeo series of bindings have a fixed lateral and vertical safety release value which is governed by the U shaped spring which forms the heel pins and are bought with a release value of 4, 6, 8 or 10 as required, these U springs can be exchanged if required too.
This ability to select different release values for each skier is designed to narrow the gap between the vague fixed release values of skimo race bindings and the world of adjustable release values found in the ski touring binding market.
Featuring the easy step in toe pins found on the Crest series the Trofeo are very easy to get clipped in to, they have a fixed crampon slot which works with the ATK RA crampon.
At the heel, you can simply flick the riser over without rotating the tower to get a good 34mm heel riser height or the tower can be rotated by 90 degrees to give you a flat heel option for lower angle skinning. You can also spin the tower to 180 and use the 44mm riser for the highest angle.
Trofeo Plus comes with a 30mm length adjustment plate and leash and can even be fitted with a brake for a super light ski touring set up!
