Welcome to our selection of GripWalk compatible backcountry ski touring boots.

GripWalk was developed by Marker as a more comfortable, grippy and safer to walk in boot sole design that can be used in alpine downhill bindings without the need to make adjustments to the binding toe height. This makes swapping skis easy and means that there is no chance of incorrect set up of the binding toe piece.

It has now been widely adopted by the industry and has largely replaced the older style of interchangeable sole units (between ski touring and alpine soles) in Freeride and off piste ski boots. Now many standard alpin ski boots also use GripWalk as it is more comfortable to walk in.

You must have a GripWalk compatible alpine ski binding to use these GripWalk boot soles as older non GripWalk downhill bindings are not compatible. Fortunately almost all downhill bindings are now GripWalk compatible.
